25M shares bought back as of three weeks ago.

So, you are saying that ATH spent 25M shares x $4/share = $100M of our money, that could have been used for growing production, and  the SP has dropped and is still dropping.

cahclick, I like your answer the best but it is still faulty. SP was rising before any buybacks started. SP has not been significantly affected by buybacks IMO; rising SP is due to profitability.  Buyfacks announced in March 2023. It would be interesting to discover when additional shares were added by ATH and see if the SP dropped at that point... but I don't knoow the answer to that yet

Without the buybacks there would be little return to shareholders. Figure it out the warrants needed to counteracted with buybacks. What's the one year return? Very high. I'm not being personal I'm telling you to get your facts. You said make production increases. They have to offset the asset sale. And they bought back shares and will continue to do so.

25M shares 3.19 a share avg price 80M CAD as of Sept 15, 2023 That's why the share price is around 4 bucks and not like BTE selling off like a bad potato the last few days. At this price 3.97 ATH can buyback more I expect 140M CAD Dollar share buyback target to be met in December 2023. With that shares go up.

Both ATH and BTE dropped likee a hot potato, if you look at ATH &BTE they both dropped around 11% from  their highs

when does ATH file their buybacks, is it monthly a few days into the following month? if so, I suppose Sept would be filed about now.

you can see teh september buybacks if you click on "Insiders" tab in stockhouse.  looks like approx 1.1M share bought back each week.
