It can always go lower. Even if it was trading at $0.06 it can go to $0.03 or worse. There is no floor in the stock market. The question to ask yourself on days like this is do you believe in this oil bull market? Or is it over? Do you believe in the macro drivers that were pushing the price higher in the early fall? Great post! I'm still a believer! And this is why ATH keeps cash on hand. Wish everyone would stop with the pressure to spend it on shareholders. The company needs to have its finances in order to run and get though times like this.
