Canada said to be evacuating 45k Lebanese Canadians

and other countries also evacuating. Looks like Israel declaring war on Lebanon is imminent and so is a pop in the political risk premium.

Well if Isreal attacks Lebanon then we can see a spike in WTI up to at least $90....a sad way to pump up oil. Lets hope cooler heads prevail. Regardless, oil will go up on supply and demand issues.

Mainly because this isn't the 70s. We have plenty of supply from South America North America and Iran etc which wasn't the case in the 70s. OPEC isn't like it was. And todays oil supply world isn't either.
