Because market is driven mainly in the short and medium term by greed and fear. Remember march 2020 when we were seeing + and - 10% days ? it was awesome !! value investing and technical analysis will always take second place after the psychological aspect of the market

"Experience tends to confirm a long-held notion that being prepared, on a few occasions in a lifetime, to act promptly in scale." I think it was Gabriel who posts this quote here: Put all your eggs in one basket and watch the basket very carefully': From billionaire investor Stanley Druckenmiller

I would not do that myself. Concentrated meaningful positions ok, but no all-in! That's one nice advantage of stock market investor over entrepreneur. You never know. A friend owns hotel and was hit bad without any of his doing... “Diversification is a protection against ignorance," according to Buffett.

Je pense qu'il est dplac de juger le niveau d'investissement d'un autre membre ici sans connatre les proportions de son portefeuille, Prtendre de ses stratgies et points d'entr sans connatre plus que sa position est un jugement faux et inutile.

I think the odds of triggering a short squeeze without a catalyst is nil and i don't expect a positive earnings surprise. Institutional investors are waiting for proof of an earnings turnaround which i believe will happen this year. So back up the truck and buy the dip if it happens. One significant NR may be the thing we need to get this going before then.

Alex, if you have all your eggs in the same basket can be, to a certain extent, an advantage if you 'master' the put and call options game. Moreover, allowing one to average up or down. To each his strategy when you have the capacity to. I wish I had such capacity.
