Who suggested $20 for takeover price? It's not even the price SNC paid for Atkins a couple years ago. Does not make any sense.

Alexcanada low of 2019 (around 16$) + 25% purchase premium (average in the last 10 years) = 20$ yeap 20$... almost 50% off from recent height and there's nothing that us, retail could do about that.. even Jarislowsky can't stop it on its own.

Pretty darn scary when we don't have any control on a buyout price.  The powers to be with the votes or control will do what they want.   The board is puppets and useless so don't count on them to do anything for share holders.  Fiduciary duty's seem missing these days in the corporate world.   Ron

faut se calmer avec la peur d un rachat.... Jarilowski connait la valeur, et il ne laisserait pas un rachat a prix modique..... Aucuns rachat dans les plans.... Uniquement un prix manipul pour permettre achats de vos actions en bas de 30.... Le voil le danger et il est a venir

et pour ce qui est des courts ... Probablement ils ont pratiquement tout couvert, Puis le prix plus bas pour que les MM se remboursent a profit . Quand nous verrons la position courte pratiquement nulle, a ce moment nous saurons que la valorisation commence.... Puis nous vendrons a 30 croyant un deal, Ensuite a 33 croyant une chance..... Ainsi de suite pour se rendre compte que nous avons laisse ...more

I'm not suggesting anything.. for me that would be the worst-case scenario.  By the way, it's not because a company paid X $ for something years ago that it's worth the same amount or more these days. Remember when Constellation Brands acquired hundreds of millions of shares of Canopy Growth.. see what's it worth today : a fraction of what they paid for it. But of course ...more
