check the headlines over the last few years.

Change the name to "Atkins" or something solid and free of the sleazy associations. I agree it's old news - but what is the first thing people think when this company is mentioned?

if Encana can become ovintiv which sounds like an IUCD or a hormone supplement, then surely a name change with SNC is appropriate.

That name change has been mentioned here several times over the last 4 years since the scandal news broke out.   I mentioned it myself to change the name from SNC Lavalin to "Atkins Engineering" which would get rid of the SNC stigma of past scandulous CEO and corporate business practices.  At the same time you would turbocharge the new and invigorated heart and soul of the ...more
