Rumor on the LON:AUE Buyout

One chap is claiming a buyout has transpired AUE now owns 49% of the mine might be with the new strategic partner.  IMO this is bad for the SP when the news hits.  I find it hard to imagine they have got a great price given the distress the company is in. Thoughts?

I think it would be great for current share price - not for long term bag holders. They cannot get 51% of this mine for the current SP. Up we go....

Looks like its a take out at the Liberty level, which means any money coming in will be for debt reduction. If new investor is taking 51% he must be helping them retire a large portion of that debt. AUE with 49% and little debt would be a much much higher SP than the current level. Don't forget management participated about 7 months ago in a pp at 9 cents.

Noticed edv just announced $125 million financing potentially for ity development which is on border with liberia. They would be ideally suited to get into Liberia.

Should have listened to the rumor mill for once in my life lol.  a 20% increase!  I honestly didn't think the news would have that kind of impact.  I suppose the company was priced with bankruptcy as a major possibility.   I think the biggest news is a new management team!  Go new guys!
