Reason vs. logic.

it's reasonable to assume when this is all done the stock will go up 1.5 cents. I'm sorry to have to point this out, but MNG doesn't need a stock worth 5 cents. They don't need a stock worth 50 cents. They're not doing this to have a share price under 2 dollars, I just don't buy it.

reefs i totally agree, but, to get there they need to get shares numbers down.  thats why a reverse split.  say it hits 5or 10 cents.  a 10:1 split would 50 to 100 cents.  then with fewer shares, comes more interest.  more interest bring higher values, assuming gold is flowing and costs to get them are lowered.  this is a lot of work for a few cents.

Aureus' shareholders were not even a concern. The ...more

Feel free to correct me without chopping me to pieces. I think the shares of MNG's private company haven't yet joined with Aureus' shares because of the standstill agreement that Orion pointed out. The deal just hasn't finished yet. and when it does we are about to find out just how much MNG's private business is worth. I thought it was going to happen at the end of the year so ...more

personally, i wouldnt reverse split till things r going the way you want them too.  production steady with bugs worked out, finances settled and costs brought in line with expectations.  not a minute sooner.  if they do all this i would expect the sp to appreciate a little.  investors will be  inclined to invest some money after the adventure its been.  things would ...more
