IS SPENDING ALMSOT 500K A DAY TO CANCEL SHARES AT 50% NAV.  THATS WHY COOPER IS THE MAN.

If Artis grabs D under 20, at the same time D does buybacks, it would be an incredible way to grow unitholder value. Get a major position averaged around 20-22, then finish a take-over in the 25-27 with final average around $22-24, for $31-33 of assets. Instead we are screwing around with FCR at ~15% discount to to NAV?

FCR is too big for Artis/Sandpiper to ever acquire without bringing in multiple other parties like was done with Cominar. Dream Office is the perfect size for Artis after selling off the Dream Office $400 million investment in DIR. Downtown Toronto office assets owned by Dream Office nicely complement the Artis portfolio which has very little exposure to Ontario. The discount to NAV on Dream ...more
