ARTIS LOOKING WEAK HERE

Not rallying with reits today.  HR pulling away again

You have the attention span of a fly. How you manage money while looking at 30 second candles is baffling to me. Every so often I unblock you when I see you pop in an interesting thread, only to instantly block you again once you confirm that you're still incompetent and add zero value to any conversation.

I started loading H&R recently. Now from largest to smallest: - Artis - Plaza - H&R - TNT - Canadian NET - Dream Office They will do well across the board. Artis remains my favourite opportunity however.

Nah, me and Frankie agree HR is the place to be.  Their development and rezoning pipeline is great, their assets, including office are top notch, and they are going to be fully industrial/resedential by 2026 which should be more in favor then a diversified REIT.  Artis on the other hand will turn into whatever manji decides to buy in the moment.....really no focus and he's only ...more

I have to agree with Snakey on this one. Anyone bullish on real estate and believes office has a future can't ignore the two 10yr+ call options to buyback $1B worth of office... what will this be worth 10 years from now? What will the Canadian dollar be worth // how much will the M2 increase in 10 years? Just saying.

For REIT I prefer dividend aristocrat and internally managed My holding from largest to smallest -BSR REIT -Allied -Granite - Interrent -Canadian NET -CRT

Interesting... never heard of BSR... apartments in Texas... not sure how this is your biggest holding and you don't see value in H&R's Lantower... to each their own, all the best

I follow Dividend aristocrat rule -if REIT  ever cut dividend I don't buy it (HR had history to cut dividend twice  2008 and 2020). Especially for REIT ,I need reliable income
Comment by Frankie10 on Jul 18, 2023 6:49pm
Says a lot about that rule if it means you can invest in Artis and not H&R at current valuations. To each their own. All the best dividend shopping.

What's wrong with Brookfield  (BPO)?   it seems everyone invested in every other Reit except Brookfield.   Isn't Brookfield one of the Biggest out there? Am I making a big mistake?    Please tell me what's wrong with Brookfield (BPO). All just my opinion/view/thinking/wondering why everyone seems to be ignoring Brookfield.
