Can't say I saw that coming. Jobs report was a little on the robust side. Futures flipped and look headed down a bit. Ten year looks like it wants to take a run at 5. I truly do hate when good news turns into bad news. I can imagine the talking heads will be out with higher for longer but I still remain in the camp that there will be no more rate hikes via the Fed. I am already seeing a narrative that this will have been the last strong jobs report for some time. I would assume tech is going to get the brunt of this as the rest of the market is trading at a "reasonable" multiple but is still going to see pressure here. Is a nice intraday reversal to the upside just a fairy tale here..................sadly likely yes! Good luck and hold on tight.

Thanks, but not looking for your investment advise. It is simply my opinion that AX will cut distribution and don't feel its a bad thing either.   Unless AX makes a deal soon it could be the best thing for the company in order to weather the storm.

So I was going to make a short post to this extent but just as well reply here. I had wondered aloud in my last post if we might just see an intraday reversal, while there is still time left to screw it up, looks like we are trying to make a move. As noted, I hate good news being bad news. If you really think about it, today's "good" news really is good news. Yes we get the knee jerk

Was it really a positive report though? Full time employment falling and most "new jobs" were low paying seasonal. In any case, I have sold my REITs today to mitigate the stressors to my daily life which have become interuptive and took tax losses to buy the magnificent 7 which appear steadfast in all parts of the economic cycle. Hey Este, I am somewhat surprised by the position you took but of course understand. As noted earlier, you have been a bastion of support of this stock and your disposition timing is of course concerning. You mentioned reits so I would assume more than just Artis here. Time will tell of your exit statagy. I for one am hopeful you will drop by sometime and leave us a note, unlike others, your

Thanks! I was just joking. I am not smart enough to own the magnificent 7. I think the best is yet to come for the REIT space, not sure how much pain we haev to go thru but hopefully not too much more. Rest assured I will continue to be adding to my REIT positions with any distributions received until recovery. It has been a little bruising to be early but the risk is worth the reward.
