REIT SELLOFF

Was just a tad too aggressive for my liking.  Makes me wonder what the market thinks is around the corner.  Office reits down big again. Thought the sector had more breathing room with long bond yields substantially off their peaks.

Thought it would be a geren day as well as inflation data came in good for Canada, bond yileds went down and US housing sales were weak triggering more recession indicators. Overall it's hard to predict day-to-day movements into tax loss selling season which likely in the coming weeks becomes "tax loss buying" as investors seek out opportunities.   A tad too aggressive for your liking...  This gave me a good chuckle.... Guess what?  The market doesn't care.  Use it as an opportunity to double down on quality names like granite and HR. Artis is problematic, so is Slate Office.
