SPECIAL DISTRIBUTION

What do you think it'll look like this year? Last year it was 0.16 with 0.08 in cash.  Good for rrsp or tfsa and even a bit ahead in non registered unless you're 50% +tax bracket.

However last year manji was bullish with his heavy insider buys thinking rates peaked at 3% now he can't afford a big special dividend in cash.  Might be 25% cash 75% phantom like HR does

Possible no special distribution. It all depends on the cost base of the assets sold. Lots of office sold, possibly below "book" value but at NAV.

  wouldn't you rather they paid down debt and / or bought preferreds?  Eye watering leverage.
