FLUSH TOMORROW?

The big boys on wall street took artis and other reits right to the edge of the cliff, down 10-20% depending on the REIT past 6 weeks.  Everything I am seeing with the SP action would indicate so.   Anyone who bought the rally past few months is going to wish they hadnt! Thats what theyre going for- full on capitulation.

If this happens it really wont matter what artis reports later that night.

Sleep tight gents.

For all our sanity here I HOPE IM WRONG!!!!!!!!!

Fooey on those dad-blasted big boys!  I am surprised they don't have more important things to do than punish Artis REIT investors.  Baby Bunny

i meant month over month gdp growth is 0% for canada. things are getting really bad now. lots of layoffs and plant slowdowns.
Comment by DZtrader on Feb 29, 2024 10:21am
Sorry Este, yes should have realized. I wouldn't be surprised we get a May cut in Canada. Not sure it would come earlier.

Canada is not doing well.  Final domestic demand turned negative in Q4, the only quarter of the year that was negative. Real gdp came in at 0.248 % q/q due to growing exports but domestically Canada is suffering. Likely to get worse as the global recession gains traction.

You can't look at GDP numbers on a non per capita basis. You can't paint over a recession through mass inflation -- can you !!??

It's very sad what's happening to Canada.  I don't even want to talk about gdp per capita because it's so embarrassing right now. No matter what lies the media speak of, it's very clear that Canada has been in a recession for a few quarters now.

Real GDP per capita has been a sheet show for awhile now. Watching my own country burn while still within her borders was not on my bingo card.
