Crude

Has moved up 15% since Jan 15. Same time reits started to tank again.  Looks like a decent enough correlation to these inflation prints

Gary, calm down.  Gasoline prices and shelter were responsible for higher inflation.  Gasoline prices are about ~4% of cpi and it increased almost 5% m/m. This tells me that gasoline prices contributed almost 2/10th  of a percent from the latest Cpi data which increased 6/10th of a percent m/m. If you strip out gasoline, then Cpi increased 4/10th of a percent. This is still too ...more
