Cpi m/m at one tenth to two tenths of a percent.  Cpi y/y in the range 3.2% - 3.3%    Core cpi m/m at two tenths to three tenths of a percent.  Core cpi y/y in the range 3.4% - 3.5%    Core and CPI are beginning to converge.

Hey Dz, I just realized I was right on my inflation prediction :) The general consensus was a flat Cpi reading but I predicted it would trend lower.  Not bad for being a "fake" macro pro. I'd rather be an amateur that gets it right than a pro that gets it wrong.

If you are referencing me when you say "pro"....................I am not a pro, but I did get it correctly so not sure why you keep harping otherwise, other than to try and antogonize again. As for your call, kind of hard to miss when you use a range like you did. Sounds just like Rumpled4skin proclaiming they got something right then looking for praises. Not interested in your pettiness ...more

Are you kidding me bruh?  The general consensus was a flat inflation reading. I nailed it on both core and headline and I have been accurate on getting the right direction (up or down) prior to every single inflation release. I also make it public so people like you can criticize me if I do get it wrong. Something you tried to do before but were painfully wrong. Do you want me to remind you ...more

You're starting to sound very desperate again. Not sure what part of not interested in your pettiness you can't quite seem to comprehend. You and all your imaginary friends are an irritant to this board. Because you used a range to predict CPI you want a medal? Did I get that right, TJ, Rumpled, Snake, Gary or whomever you are in this post. Not sure how difficult that was and also not sure ...more

let's review my inflation call before the release.  Cpi m/m at one tenth to two tenths of a percent.    Cpi y/y in the range 3.2% - 3.3%  The actual m/m inflation came in at 0.166% which is within my targeted range of one tenth to two tenths of a percent.    Core cpi m/m at two tenths to three tenths of a percent.  Core cpi y/y in the range 3.4% ...more

Not true. I always thanked you for sharing. I acknowledge it takes courage to make a public statement that can then be used against you - which you have done to me on countless occasions... That said, predicting CPI (which is not inflation) is not my area... so I would not cast stones, even if you were wrong, and if I have, I apologize. That said, nobody says anything because I don't think ...more
