What I think could happen

S&P 6000+ into the election, weakness at/after the election. I kind of agree with TJ's view that the economic data is worsening and that the recession will ultimately come and bite the market's azz (well in part at least, I'm not a doom and gloom / David Rosenberg kind of guy, we're not going back to s&p 3600).

But right now sentiment and momentum is positive, market keeps reacting positively to all news related to cooling off CPI or incoming rate cuts. I think the wave keeps moving up for now. Gonna revisit in a month or two, if economic data keeps worsening / unemployment keeps going up and it looks like the election bring civil unrest, I think that could be a great time to get some serious dry powder.

Just some thoughts, could be wrong (I often am lol).

Yes thats always been my thesis since the winter that they wont let bad CPI or powell steal votes from the democrats.   fudge some data is the best way to keep everyone happy and  big rate cuts
