I hate to say it but if ever there was a optimal time for a hostile bid by artis its now.  D.un didn't really rally past few months and rates are firmly expected to come down enhancing the liquidity of the assets next year

There is a reason D.un didn't participate perhaps as much as others. I was reading an article the other day (which I can no longer find) about commmercial real estate. For the life of me, can't remember who made the interviewed guest commentary but I was going to reference it the other day. It suggested their top searches (far and away) are in regards to "work from home", " ...more

Most of Artis' NOI is now office. Whether we like it or not, Artis is now an Office REIT with some industrial. Just like D is...

And retail and residential at 300 main. Also, correct me if I'm wrong but I believe the bulk of  Cominar is 50 percent retail by square footage (4.6M square feet) so Artis is not just an office REIT.
