The set up for reits doesn't appear to be on our side here
...................the set up, I speak of often enough, probably doesn't line up for us here today. The moves we have seen are in anticipation of upcoming cuts, in particular the outsized move last Friday which predicated a 50 bip move. That move is now in question a bit and a reasonable chance we just see 25 bips. That being the case, rightfully, the entire Friday move should be reversed and probably a bit more, just how the market does things. In fact I think we likely see a fairly good sell off in the event we just get the 25, this is the chop we have been feeling for a bit now. It will be hard but it will also be the time in which you start buying, not necessarily today but have your list ready.
On the other hand, if they do in fact deliver a 50 I think we just get a really choppy seasaw market. As noted earlier, the presser (in both cases) will be what you need to listen to, Good luck all.
