In exactly 3 weeks my IBR margin rate will be 4.50%...

I can buy the big cad reits for HR- 6%, REI - 5.8%, DIR- 5.50%, solid 1% net while waiting for a rebound

And

many others for 7-8% dividends

like what in the actual __________

keep dumping them BOTS

This looks like a bogus trade by the shorts that will have an expiry date

  Your goal is not to maximize your dividend yield but rather to preserve your original capital. A levered strategy can completely wipe out your equity when things go bad.

Hi Gary, yes as I showed you on my X post, at 3.2x leverage my reit portfolio kicks off a levered yield of 10.3%... that was using market rates, so as unit prices fall, those yields would go up. Furthermore, when rates are cut, the cost to borrow would come down and the yields would again go up. Anyways, all that to say - I agree, they are very cheap and a very compelling fixed income strategy ...more

It sounds like you're maxxing our your leverage. Let us know when you are close to margin call gary. Looks like stuck pig is on the menu.
