First Majestic announced record quarterly and annual production today and the stock finished off 1.2% after being down much further on the day.
It's the flippers and funds doing their usual dance of screw the retailer after they take profits.

First Majestic, etc: silver up half a buck, doesn't seem to matter. Analysts usually chalk it up to 'buy the anticipation, or the rumor, and sell the news'. This is supposed to be silver season though. One thought is that the declines in PM stocks often precede troubles in the bigger markets. But nice try,Roberto. Fwiw the way I view this kind of situation is that from my past experience I know that when a sector lights up and gets the attention of the momo crowd all the companies in that sector catch a bid at some point. In the case of silver companies like FR and PAAS etc they will naturally lead the charge but by then we have a situation where the hungry for action traders are searching for the next
