You managed to recover your losses in one 80-hr work week?  Consider yourself lucky.  Investors who bought even just a couple of weeks ago are SOL. Some here might have bought in the $2 - $3 range. Hecla is picking up the mine for peanuts.

It's always like that. Rob McEwen picked up the black fox mine for maybe 5% of its value. of course nothing came of it. Mr Nauman probably knew there was no future at alexco site. And hecla paid a fair price because they probably know thats all its worth too. But he personally probably sucked out a good paycheck before he got rid of it. Now he is on the board of directors of Novagold. Raking

Spoke to some people in Keno and Mayo yesterday.  They were not even aware that Alexco will be taken over by Hecla.  So much for community involvment. As for closed doors Alexco has never been very forthcoming with infomation unless it was promotion and even then sporatic... What is surprsing to me was that when Keno was in it's heyday 1970 - 1980 everyone knew what was going on

THE incompetence of management can easily make you believe this was there goal.  They'll probably end up at HL in higher paying jobs with nice options and bonuses.  So Vancouverish now on the TSX.
