Why do they do this , except that they can every minute or so for next to nothing . What is the end game?

My guess is computer trading, flipping between CIBC, Goldman...etc. plus market makers, but mostly computer trading.  JD might have some comments too.

birchman: easy exlaination....Mannipulation. its the best reason i can think of. As  for GOLD...it looks like a bloodbath to the 1,150 level tomorrow morning  very very bearish jd

Small lots trades like many times in a row just make me resist getting in. Sure sign of gaming the system .  Thanks for your opinion.
