I agree with you, but, even if they say yes, the government can overrule that vote.  Not sure if they will or not.  The price of gold will go up however because there are more contracts and leased gold out there than actual physical supply and Russia, China and India will end up with all the physlical stockpile...or most of it, while the US has given it away.  That's the other ...more

I would say "Don't count on it" but ProfJD has squeezed all of my optimism out of this :)  BTW - Banro's AISC is best-in-class at $700/oz and now that crude has dropped 30% and dropping expect that number to be even lower for Q4-2014. Banro wills till be in business when some other goldminers start bellying-up.
