Price disconnect

I would appreciate if someone can explain something that I find rather puzzling. Yesterday's closing price was $31.49 Canadian which translates to $22.17 US...... But in the US the closing price was $25.10 US which translates to $35.65 Canadian. Why such a considerable difference in price?
