They're definitely not ready for stage 3. I don't understand why the car doesnt have a safety feature to stop if no one is at the wheel though...

Calling this a crash is an understament. This was nuclear. There is very litttle car left over. you hit a tree - no gasoline or petrol onboard -- these batteries must behave like bombs - airbags deploy? Optical road to eye interlocks? TESLA HQ has a full recording of the events for investigators - very likely audio, speed, temperature and heart rates of the driver and passenger. ...more

This would've never happened with a '69 GTO Judge or a '70 Charger R/T or a '69 Camaro Z28 or a '71 Mustang Mach 1 get my drift? Never mind EV' s. Bring back the good ol' cars with pure manual mechanical unadulterated horsepower.
