Crowdstrike getting hammered early. What's up with that?

Thanks pray, In financial parlance I believe underweight means MS is saying the shares are priced too high. Have read where a good percentage of their underwriters have pulled anchor. Then last nights news where US Treasury seems to have bypassed them and are looking to Israel of all places to fix cyber security issues plaguing them. Then again they could end up green at end of day. Probably a ...more

lol US Treasury has turned to BB for protection...US Treasury has switched to Blackberry cybersecurity after their hack last year.  I think the israel pact is just infor/data sharing on ransomeware and not necessarily using Israel's tech. I would never trust it as they are the biggest intelligence threat to the world.  CRWD is getting challege from Blackberry most likely....as ...more

Hey Russkie....looks like US Treasury has already had that chat with CRWD and exactly pleased with what was said. lol. If CRWD keeps getting blasted today then I think other cyber security companies may get pulled down too. Collateral damage aside, time for smart money to head our way...gotta go

Here's the video where BB shows how other AV compare to BB Cylance Ai. I did bounce the info against CRWD (falcon prevent) but as the guy said, they are still behind BB and are still in detect category. CRWD and rest of the crowd are too behind and they need cloud to be fully effective. Remember, even connected cars won't have cloud connection reliability all the time so in that space only ...more

Confucius says, 'It doesn't matter how fast you go, as long as you do not stop'. The tortoise has passed the hare. If you've been long on CRWD would you consider selling and buying BB for a win-win? No brainer?

I'm with Wolf on this one. Not that I wouldn't like to debate, it's just that the use of ad Homs makes any argument not worthwhile.  You did bring up one thing though, that being ' don't adjust the goals' . Don't know if you ever looked at that form CRWD filed with SEC when they went public. CRWD  said in it that they had never made a cent prior to the ipo ...more

Hedge, I will somewhat embarrassingly admit to being a provocateur when it comes to KBB... I have very little patience for racism, bigotry, misogyny and the like. But taking the nonsense between KBB' and myself out of it, you took KBB's goal posts and nailed a 70 yarder dead center. Kurtz and McClure strike me as the Cain and Abel or even the Ishmael and Isaac of modern cyber. I think you& ...more

Thanks Wolf. I'm officially done with KBB. He called me an American...lol He's entitled to have an opinion.  Not perfect but I try to be careful, a lot of IMHO & JMO also including as many may, maybe, could, should, etc that I can. Forget that sometimes. Like you I'm interested in stimulating debate. Don't want to sound like some confederate flag waver driving his ...more

HT, caught his referring to you as American, which he'd have known better if he actually did DD. Strange bird to say the least. Going forward, I'll try harder not to engage him. I am an American living in America. No secret that all the extremes existed here before Trump and Covid, but it's positively nutty now and, dare I say, a wee bit scary at times. When (not if) BB zooms past the ...more

KBB', sounds like you may have gotten up on wrong side of trade today. Man o' man, you're extra grouchy. Hoping you're able to get used to BlackBerry SP heading higher and that you'll eventually make amends with your favorite CEO. Seriously, I hope you feel better soon.    - dwolf

So Morgan Stanley was worried about CRWD competition. Would that explain this? Is there more to follow? Copied from Fintel article: Morgan Stanley reports 20.59% increase in ownership of BB / BlackBerry Ltd 2021-08-23 - Morgan Stanley has filed a 13F-HR/A form disclosing ownership of 1,690,762 shares of BlackBerry Ltd (US:BB) with total holdings valued at $20,661,000 USD as of 2021-06-30 ...more
