Chen himself said he had too many lawyers. Apparantly those lawyers don't work for him i think....they're playing for the opposite party. look at the proof at yahoo options page. 

If you look at the open options from today to Jan 21st, the total shares that could be trigger is around 80,000,000 shares!!!! Someone does not want this patent sale to go through. Granted some are covered calls but majority are likely uncovered. If people exercise that has to be bought from open market.

Options are lot of retail. MM sold lot of options to retail and don't want patent sale to go through. These compromised lawyers are pulling tricks to cancel or delay the deal.
