Drama in the boardroom???

I don't know folks. Some big haters gonna hate, and maybe he deserves it, but why are you so sure he's gone when his current contract expires ? You sure about that? You sure about the 60 days? If the board were inclined to replace the ceo, they would have already. He's not on a punch clock at the Schlitz plant. It's more like the coach of a ball or hockey team. He gets the boot, they pay out his contract, and the new guy starts immediately. Way before the contract ends even when the season is a write off anyway. So I hope your heads don't explode if they announce an indefinite continuation of the existing contract terms, or an extension for a few years, or even a shiny new contract. Likewise if he was planning on leaving in 60 days, there's no reason for him to stick around to the last day. It's not going to affect his pensionable earnings like a postal worker or a teacher. He'd just announce he's going to spend more time with his family and pack up the office. As in last April or May, not mid November. So don't hold your breath either way or you might just pass out and miss his Xmas message to all.

He hasn't been replaced due to the horrible contract that guarentees him a small fortune if he is fired. He has been paid 250 million to screw shareholders.  He has destroyed every asset BB had and has not generated one cent of revenue.  A pure failure of epic proportions. Good riddance. Batard.

I'm not disagreeing with the poor stock performance, I'm suggesting IF , as suggested here, his contract is expiring in just 2 months, I would expect if either the board was unhappy with him, or vice versa, he would have quietly vanished by now. Not on the last day of the contract. I'm suggesting, MAYBE the stated expiry date of mid November and that count down clock are not correct ...more

I don't know folks"... exactly why you have written those words!  Show up late to the party after all the drama and the wealthiest people in the room are long departed... what is left over, who are these scragglers? The chef exit ooof icer is not going anywhere until after November 13th.   Why is that, Maxmoe, you ask. The kink of bRACKbRERRY has a five year contract that ...more

Whatever man. If I were chairman and only half as angry as you are, I'd tell him not to bother showing up and I'd have done so a long time ago. Yes he'd have to paid out just like a washed up useless former cy young award winning pitcher, but why would I keep sending him out to the mound to just cause more damage? It costs the same whether he shows up or not. Yup, that's a bad ...more

Maxmoe, if the BoD terminate Gone When tomorrow the cost is $69M.... if jaune chien rides out his cushy Employment Contract that fuels the jet home one last time November 13 he collects another 1M shares, end of story. Why keep him in the game?  Well, since the chef exit ooof icer has spent well over $4B on stuff with a 25% haircut at current market cap... quite simply the BoD know the ...more

jaune chien is the execution char person... a term in his Employment Contract. He owns the BoD until they pay him out or November 13 end date of the Employment Contract that will feature in a new HBO series Silence of the Sharehoeders.

Max, I get it, we get it, even Dorsey's Horsey's get it. The problem is, to use another baseball analogy, you threw the stable residents a curve ball. It's probably the only time they've agreed to not get rid of Chen, at least for couple months. It's funny.  One states that Chen has squandered $4bn and yet not spending a paltry $69mn means the target of their invective ...more

Gassing him now, or 2 months from now, or 6 months ago, would not change any risk you perceive. So again I'll say why keep sending him out to the mound? We know he's going to float a batting practice speed pitch in there to get pounded out of the park, or walk in the bases loaded. There's not even a chance of entertainment from beaning the batter with some high heat, or nailing the ...more

Got to love those baseball analogies. Good stuff. Perhaps the attitude is if he's getting pounded then leave him in there, it's better than wearing out the relief.  Been many predictions and some outright certainty that BB will hit zero so I figured if an angry Chen feels like informing the competition of what BB actually has, like stealing signs, then maybe the prophecies come true ...more

If you're convinced it's going to zero, who cares if anyone is angry, what possible value is there in anything he says, who would care what he has to say, especially former competitors. I could go on but it reinforces my point that despite the calls for his head, it's doesn't compute. And the Yankees could pull him from the mound, and keep his bat in the lineup by moving him to a ...more

Never said I was convinced it's going to zero and that's exactly what I was talking about when referring to the Yanks and the Babe....you don't take him out of the game because he could knock one out..sorry if you misunderstood. Yah , I doubt if I'd be too angry if my walking papers included a boat load of cash. Who knows, Jays will win the WS this year ....lol

Remember the bet?  Like I said under $6 until debentures settled and Chen gone.  Nothing has changed for this penny stock.
