Scrap heap
Blackberry reminds me of a muscle car I once owned of which I had visions of grandeur in it's restoration. After spending thousands of dollars on replacement parts and hundreds of hours on attempted body and mechanical fixes I realized I was in over my head and sold it off for only pennies on the invested dollars and nothing for my time. Finally the tormenting had ended but the pain still lingers after all these years.

Parse it any which way you want but the only ones who made out well here are short sellers and the only longs that made money sold into that Reddit pump job. Other than that car analogies are useless here even if some parallels can be extracted.

Hey you'll get no argument from me about Chen. I always believed he was overrated and that his turning around Sybase 25 years ago had little bearing on his ability to turn this dog around. As I said in a previous post he should've been shown the door here five years ago. Worst CEO in tech I've seen in near 30 years.
