CEO Sells 155k Shares

05:58 PM EST, 01/06/2025 (MT Newswires) -- John Joseph Giamatteo, Director, CEO & President, Cybersecurity, on January 02, 2025, sold 155,815 shares in Blackberry (BB) for $573,399. Following the Form 4 filing with the SEC, Giamatteo has control over a total of 385,552 shares of the company, with 385,552 shares held directly.

Maybe this is the reason BB is down 3-4% today. Why would the CEO sell so many shares (more than 1/3 of his position) when BB share are just starting to increase.

This news came out yesterday morning @ 10:30. He sold his shares on the 2nd, and filed it yesterday. It's common for directors to sell some shares at the beginning of each year to cover the taxes on their incentive compensations.  Nothing out of the ordinary here, and the stock is definitely not down because of what you posted.
