class A shares trading

After looking at the chart of bbd.a , volume reach 1M in one day but less than 10 M in the last 2 weeks. Beaudoin family owns 262M/309M A shares , so they are not about to loose the control of BBD and for an external investors buying twice the price for A  shares make no sense.

In my opinion its a redistribution of shares among members of the family for tax purposes , in order words avoiding a big capita gain for new family owners.

That does not mean that bbd.a  shares are overvalued ,probably 1$ its the fair price for A and B shares.

Every time that a member of the board buy any shares they need to register so it's public before the buy.

As mentioned previously couldn't an outside investment firm/corp, in agreement with the family, buy JUST the A's to take controle of BA? As we can see there is nothing in the free market that obligates the B's to match the A's especially if there is no upside (hence profits) for the small investor to hold on to the B's. My 2 cents....

Skyisthelimite, that's avery good question!

They buy whatever they can at a discount right now will negotiating with the family to buy the remainder at lets say 3$...after the deal the A's and B's would then adjust to whatever the market think is fare price...my 3 cents.

@Skyisthelimte Hopefully its more then your 3cents... lets say your $3... lol
Comment by Skyisthelimite on Nov 28, 2020 11:49am
@david lol yes you would think 3$ is good but that would only be for the A's (mostly family), A's would go back down matching the B's after the deal, once the new entity acheves it's goal of controlling BA..IMO

Skyisthelimite, if it ever goes, it half to go for two on both ways and not what will be benefit, for only one category! been so bad in the last two years, we don't need that kind DEAL!

Skyisthe limite, maybe, but not 100% differance between them, and probally not the one alone here that agree with this!

If true, what a lovely family, redistributing shares to other family members at twice the price instead of current market value. Personally, I think it's something else.
