Not bad i say -Now lets see what happens

They are to get 500 million Euros in shares valued at 47.50/share Tha's tghe deal  I don't know where all these numbers come from.

if the amount bbd will get is fixed at 500 mil euro and alstom share price is fixed at 47.50 euro why on earth they did not say bbd will get approx 10.562 million shares of Alstom (10 million and five hundred sixty two)

500 million euros / 47.50 = 10.526315 million shares.   Today Alstom shares are trading at 45.75 euros...so less than what the deal was signed at.

Alstom is a solid investment fortified by BBD's misfortunes. The future of mass transit is either nothing or immeasurable. More problems than BBD if it goes to zero. I would like the new CFO to go long term on the shares providing they can manage the debt without having to sell. Alstom share price will have no impact on operations. It might be a nice stable investment play similar to McInnis

Please correct me if I am wrong.  585million at 47.5 Euros comes to 27.78 billion Euros.  for the Train division only.  If you divide this amount by the outstandinbg shares of Bomber  which is about 2.1 billion comes to about 13 Euros per shares. The trading stock price now is about 50 cents/ shares.  Something is not right!  Please correct me Moneyman !
