The shorts are becoming nervous

The closer Bombardier gets to the 4th quarter financials on February 11/21 the more wild theories about Bombardier’s demise are being circulated. It makes one think that the shorts are losing their nerve, getting pretty desperate.

 

No one can definitely say that the company has turned things around, are on track to meet all the milestones expected from them. But the probabilities of a successful outcome and the return to profitability are looking better every day.

 

Shareholders who foresee a bright future for this now streamlined company are cautiously optimistic, looking forward to February 11th and the beginning of redemption for those that have stuck with Bombardier through thick and thin.

Yep; I have a nice big leveraged position in the Pref Cs - loving the yield and capital gain potential. Anyone who's followed the bizjet export data for Q4 knows Bombardier knocked it out of the park - so many Global 7500s out the door. Bizjet market is looking very strong going forward.
