i hope you are right but imo, canadian gov will never give any good valuable business to bbd unless bbd drop dual share structure (WHY ??) I believe they are working together with the govts , CDPQ gets the REM contrcts and doesn't buy any trains from the bomber why ?because they knew the trains would be sold  ...now 5 years later and CDPQ gets and added extension to the REM contract ($ 10 B) in the east end , guess who will get the trains? CDPQ is very heavily invested in the transportation field....BT, REM, Eurostar, Koelis I wonder if an audit would reveal some governance issues around concentration...

F35 will be selected. Its not only the aircraft its also the avionics as well. Most NATO will be operating F35 and you need the software from F35 to communicate to each other. NORAD also has F35 and F22 as future fleet. Grippen wont be able to use Lockheed designed software. Each F35 communicates with each other live and is connected to mission plan live so all pilots know which targets are left

This is F35 propaganda. The F35 will not be the main plane of the us army. The f18 f15 f16 still remain the main planes. So according to you, the vast majority of the us planes canot comunicate... lol Funy

Army dont fly fighter jets. First figure out the difference between army and navy/marines and then come talk. Mairnes and Navy has f18 and air force has f15 and f16.

Bombardier will NOT be building the Gripen, it will be assembled in NS. There will be 2 facilities in Montreal that are part of the proposal but I do not see any BBD particpation at this point. SAAB has said there are opportunities for other companies to particpate and we do know that BBD and SAAB are partnered on other projects.

They are on the global eye. But. USA is the only neigbourg of Canada. For me it make sens they buy US planes. But, for the F35, all the nato will not use it. In france we use the rafale in exercice with the us and there is not problems with it, the germans use the typhoon, the brits to (F35 only for the navy), italians typhoon (Again f35 only for the navy).  So speaking of the f35 as a
