SELL ORDER

That “sell order story” it’s working or not?  I have 4 accounts and I will place sell orders if someone can assure me that it works.  I think that somebody here told us that it’s not working.    Thanks.

Micmar, yes it works but you can not put an asking  price higher than 9 time the going price. If the mnarket price is at $0.60, your selling price can not be hgher that $5.40. This house rules is effect at Disnat and National Bank. I know for sure nd yes it is true taht the house can not use your shares to lend them to another house. They are FROZEN. period WW2

Whitewood, May, I suggest you try to place your oder(s) again and see if you can succeed.  Hope you will :)

July60 No it doesnt work and I spoke to the Disnat trader to clarify why. Perhaps it is related to the amount of share one is trying to sell. Something is fishy, I know the guy personnaly and he would not lie to me. Are you sure your sell order was accepted ? Check it again I doubt or again someone is playing game here

Whitewood2, I am with Disnat online, this morning I wanted to sell at 50.00 $ the share he my REFUSED, I tried at 10.00 the share he my accept ((OPEN)) I do not understand that there are people who are refused. You have to try again and again. Good luck

Momocau, perhaps its related to the amount of shares. My order was for 70,000 which is a large amount of money, I dont know. 70,000 x $10. = $700,000 and they just didnt like it

Whitewood2, I sold 50,000 shares at $ 10.00 for a total of $ 500,000 he accepted. If I were you I would spend the same order again at $ 10.00. Good luck.

You want to keep your ask as high as possible, and yes some brokers will lend your own stocks to shorts and make $$$$, not you. So the best way to be safe just put that ask (sell order) very high and for a long period. If you ever want to sell lower  later you just change the amount, all perfectly legal.
