So still -500 FCF in 2021...

What can they sell next? I assume they will make about 300M in profit EBITDA but will pay around 800M in interest so -500. How do they get out from under this mess. They don't have a lot of major assets left to sell do they? I know they have a Montreal property but will have to spend all that money on the factory at YYZ. Massive sale of convertable bonds to the province?

very good post mnztr ...like you i dont see how they can make a net profit for several years with that payment of interest ...when they talk about this year expected -expected they usually never achieve always less then their prevision -profit it is before amortisation AND servicing that huge debt !  That is the real situation and most on this board do not seems to understand that or choose ...more

Lets wait for March analyst day before making wrong analysis. It seems that BT legacy costs are still on 2021 books? Is this really the case. If yes, this change completely BA perspectives. I like EM clean up of this huge inflated organisation and his conservative transparent approach 12%+ margin on OEMsales and 15%+ on servicing is possible. No more possible to hide things. And contrary to trains ...more

raphaelle ..of course the actual debt is compose of those 2 huge faillures : CS series and BT legacy  train contracts ...it is still there and will not go away as it is still part of Bombardier as a company .. as far as waiting for D day -the March meeting -do you really thing a miracle will happen ? i have been following those guys since 7 years now and even with EM there as their new guy ...more

Hi Serge,I understand where the debt came from.I was rather refering to a shot of 200M cash burn for 2021 which I thought came from BT. Which is not the case I understand. < br/=""> Re the Miracle. I think its already happening! Simply because EM keep talking about their debt and the need to restructure their capital base for the long term ! Before this company was burning cash ...more

Hi Raph ..i admire your optimist ! it is not an easy decision but for me it is this : by selling now -in fact just before the March meeting - and taking the loss then re-investing  those $ in those 4 cannabis stock -by yhe way they are the 4 major ones and all are making money now -will i get a better return on those then keeping the same money invested again in BA ?  Still thinking ...more

SD, just curious... if you're holding 500k shares and a forecast as your predict, what is your exit price?
Comment by 1sergedompierre on Feb 13, 2021 1:30pm
Flaming that is good question .. my cost is 1.57 I figure I have to wait at least 2 years in order to recoup my cost ... on the other side lucky enough i am having a great year with Trulieve , Green Thumb , Crisco Labs and Curaleaf mainly because this year it should be legalized in US and those stocks should mouve to NASDAQ and I am already up by over 100% so I will pay taxes in 2021 or 2022 . I understand that many have a share cost at 2$ or more; they have bought them years ago. I'm surprised of that. Except for fiscal purposes, it is more ''confortable'' to have sell them. I had a huge loss last year with BBD; I have bought with confidence after the 2019 Q3 CC from Bellemare when he promised very positive results for Q4.  I sold finally at 57 cents in ...more

good for you lb1 ...that was a wise mouve you did my hat to you ....of course buying back around .35 -45 would have been a good mouve and those who did should make some good money in a year or so ..but us long with those cost are stock : you either wait a couple of years to hopefully recoup or you sell and mouve on ...not an easy solution and it has to be made case by case using your situation and ...more

SD, we are in close company except I don't hold as many shares as you. I also have some weed that has bounced back lately. Despite all the krap we have had to put up with, I am still holding my shares here as I am still well diversified. There are a lot on this board though where I do get the feeling that many are "all in" and that is a position I would not want to be in. Still, I ...more

The 52 week high is $1.85, market cap is less than Q revenues, stock is heavily manipulated for the past year. Good luck to you sir.

Grosso Modo, this is what I guess the #s are for 2021. (500M) cashflow is probably not the worst case scenario by the way. // #1 EBITDA 500M.  #2 capex $300M #3 interest - $500M  #4 other (MHI) $200M. So 500M negative cashflow.// They can probably do better on EBITDA, capex (sell some R/E and?) and refinancing the debt.// Where its tricky is the backlog. It dropped $1B in Q4 causing a ...more
