Bond holder noise used to artificially suppress the price

We may never know the source of the motive but it's clear the 2034 bond holder news was just a tactic to artificially suppress the price ahead of what was easily the best quarter for the company in years. Take advantage of any selling. The upgrades are coming in and soon the debt rating improvements will follow.

Careful, you are wandering into Shamhorish type conspiracy territory. And while the results are better than expected, they were never going to cause the s/p to spike. I actually thought the sell off would continue, as I imagined the headlines would focus on the negatives, i.e. YoY revenue decline, FCF usage, negative EPS etc. Anyone who is following the story knew those things already, but they ...more

From the conference call: Noah Poponak   Bart, could you just spend a little bit more time on the 7500 margin and how that’s progressing? It sounds like you’re seeing a nice ramp through the year, just how much confidence do you have in that? And then, also, if you could just speak to a little bit more specifically how the mix changes for you or against you into the margins through the ...more

Good analysis but curious what argument can be made for the very low price to enterprise value multiple. Current price to sales listed at .12. Even Embraer is listed at .54, Others much higher.

I think the market recognizes that BBD is still not out of the woods, despite the progress they have made. I don't wish to sound overly negative, but BBD still faces significant challenges.   Firstly, they need to be extremely prudent with their cash usage, something they have had trouble with in the past. Right now, they are expanding their service centres around the world, and ...more

Sigh. Why is it that when ever person mentions risks associated with BBD, some idiot accuses them of bashing or being short? If you think I am a short, you haven't been paying attention. Jim

I'll vouch for Flamingo. Sham is nowhere near him. I had to pick Sham off the floor of negativity for years. They're like day and night in comparison. As for Flamingo's query on the reasoning behind the 2034 Bond Holder complaint of Bombardier causing default by disposing BT or other assets? The answer is fairly clear here. The Bond Holder is throwing shite on the wall to see if ...more
