Contracts For June 1 Learjet Inc., Wichita, Kansas, has been awarded a $464,851,645 indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract for Battlefield Airborne Communications Node (BACN) Bombardier Global 6000 aircraft. This contract provides for the purchase of up to six Bombardier Global 6000 aircraft and completion work. Work will be performed in Wichita, Kansas, and is expected to be completed

No they buy up to 6 BACN jets from Learjet inc a company owned by Bombardier that why they didn’t say that they will shutdown in march.    The BACN jet includes a naked Bombardier Global 6000 plus all the gizmos that will be installed at Learjet in.    money for Learjet to Bombardier.

The poor unprofitable Learjet aircraft production is ending. Bombardier’s Wichita facilities is not closing. Only 250 of 1,200 workers are affected and "there are callback provisions that could allow some workers to return or be reclassified". Bombardier is simply shedding money losing assets and investing in the $$$$ future.
