Hard to believe that the dow is up almost 700 and bbdb is not doing well....

True value is very subjective when it comes to the market dynamics . How can you place a value of a stock with how the market trades ??? Anyone, including analysts haven't got a clue if they claim they know. At best they can only guess a range and a pretty wide one I would say. You only find out about the true value when the company is sold, taken over or goes under. Anything in between ...more

In a nutshell,  just like the housing market,  is that barn in Toronto really worth $2 mil?  the true value of a company is what we the investors are will to pay for the stock,  It’s called “supply and demand”

So it is safe to say that there is really no such thing as "true value" as it seems to be just a made up definition and should only be what someone is willing to pay for it.   Just a made up phrase with really no defined or universal meaning. So bashers  longs and traders are all the same except with different  means and methods  to get to the same objective with all ...more

I really like both 'what someone is willing to pay for it' and 'supply and demand' but if I take into account entitties that are trying to day trade for their 1 to 2 cents per share profits, even the 10 cents swing days share...it can skew the 'true value'. For me the true value is when there's almost no ambiguities about the company's finances and that the track ...more

True value.... not sure!,, You can determine a part of the value of a company by its assets and liabilities but it doesn’t end there there are so many other factors that pave the way on where the share price will end up …
