Revenue

Anything above $1.5 billion is good.
Comment by Micmar on Oct 25, 2021 7:05pm
I am sure that is too much.  I think it’s more like 1.3 to 1.4.      GLTALongs.

I agree.  I would need to have seen higher deliveries to get above $1.5B.

It might surprise us by announcing that the service side of the business has outperformed. I surely hope so!

Exciting times, sitting on what could be the greatest investment decision I ever made and the least expected. $1.5 bn would top things off nicely. What a run and let's keep the momentum going. Revenue is probably the biggest factor for stock evaluation so 1.5 would be spectacular. What if the bomber changed the brand names for the jets? Challenger is a reminder of a space shuttle disaster and ...more

I think name alignment is already happening for example Global 7500 will become Bombardier 7500 and challenger 3500 will become bombardier 3500. This would explain challenger 350 name change to 3500. Bombardier name in bizz jet community is very well received.

Stock...Thanks for the update. I need to pay more attention and maybe somebody at HQ is thinking like I do. Getting rid of those names can't hurt, have to keep positive momentum, no need for anything even remotely negative. Psychology plays an important role for sales, tv commercials and magazine ads use it all the time.

If the product names need optimizing, then mgmt should do that, of course. If better consistency is part of that, then any passenger aircraft industry name with "bomb" in it should be the first to go, lol.  But I can think of a lot of biz names that worked well for a long time even though the mkting dept would disapprove--Merrill Lynch and IBM are but two examples.

Interesting point. Maybe complete rebrand? How many people look at Bombardier and the first thing they think of is a failed company. Buyer might become wary. I don't like buying something and having the manufacturer go down the next day.  So perhaps the fact people are buying means they have confidence in us. Perhaps a rebrand removes doubt from a buyer who's hesitating. I ...more

Yes, their financial condition and recent history are objections to be addressed by the sales and mgmt folks.  Often, one way to do that is things like, "we've always been the luxury biz jet leader, it's great to now be focused on doing that single thing extremely well.  The other guys?  Yeah, we used to be spread thin, too." But, those things are demand ...more

Agree. Rather it be the former, a genuine reason for delay is much better than not keeping up with demand plus competitors would also face same issues.  All the more reason to rebrand because I hate having Bombardier name associated with failure. May already be a stumbling block during negotiations...idk. At least the look of a fresh start is somewhat more appealing when names are changed ...more

Bombardier a une tres bonne reputation a l ...more

...more

Should one of Elon Musk's farts sound like "Bombardier" the sp would rise. All kidding aside, I'd welcome anything positive from Elon about the Bomber right now..

The big run began with the unloading of the cash draining commercial jet and train divisions and subsequent debt repayments. Remaining cash positive as per last quarter is key to climbing higher and I believe we will nail this even with the buildout of high margin service centres.

If they come out with 1.5 billion this stock is going to explode...not likely to happen.   Would be extremely good to see 1.3 billion with lot less plane delivered. It would point to a very nice growth on the service side. Let's hope the supply chain is not affected by any  parts delays for Q4. GLTA

I still don’t understand what do you mean but here is all the info in US.    https://finance.yahoo.com/quote/bdrbf/.    sales have always been in US$ and the market cap value is the same in US or CDN.
