Boeing knifed BBD in the back with the CSeries which started the tailspin down to the pennies so why get back in bed with the devil? Only way I can see how this is even remotely possible is the devil's fire has since flamed out with the 737 Max fraud consipiracy and now covid which wiped out global commercial jet demand.

exactly IMO, if boeing did not get what they want from bbd, boeing will somehow cause problems to bbd those are gagsters can never be trusted after what they did with the c series

That's what I think also; US jets; some, or a lot of them assembled in Canada ( Bombardier!!! ). The only way they would buy european jets would be if they would get an impossibly attractive deal that they can't walk away from.

Bombardier is not cornered as they were before the fire sales. A sheep among wolves then. Best in class products and very productive engineering, But we have to make major inroads in other markets, like search and rescue, surveillance, etc. Or, become a supplier on other products, they can even subcontract on design, maintenance and engineering. I hope this is where it's heading!

I am guessing Boeing will buy Learjet. They have some military contracts that Boeing may be interested in, including the Bacn project with up to 6 Global 6Ks. Plus the USAF has a large fleet of learjets.

Boeing was there to pick the interior of the ne Global 7500 they just bought! Too much industry knowledge and expertise to let Learjet go. Learjet is the Coca Cola of the private aircraft industry. Keeping it would be a good thing.

Our military is small but invaluable such as during the recent floods in British Columbia. Very proud of our boys (and girls).
