this does not seem to make much sense to me... and if you use net debt, it makes even less sense.

I don't know where you get these numbers. At nov 30, 2021, Total assets are at 12,5 B$ Short term Liabilities were at 4,6 B$ and Long term Liabilities were at 11,1 B$ , totalling 15,7 B$ for the liabilities leaving a negative net worth of -3,2 B$. But these numbers are less signifiquant than the positive trend of the operations, so we get a market value of 4,5B$.

Just a note, liabilities is not necessarily debt.

I think that debt is more like 7.1 billions and is interest payment is 450 millions per year. approx.
