Why not

Do the 25 for 1 so leaves about 85 million and
change float. Then you can go the market to sell
200 million shares say for about 5 billion approximately.
Now you are left with a 285 million float. Proceeds go 
to the debt and you are left with 1.7 billion in debt. The interest rate
savings alone is wort this move for all the company 
and shareholders going forward. Before all the abuse 
starts, tell me why it would be a bad move. I believe
with current bank estimates on the stock the bomber could
cut a nice deal for those shares sold. Best case scenario
is the share price moves up 20% or so before R/S takes
effect.

The family has lost more from sp drop then any individual or institutional buyers from ~15-20 years ago when sp was well over 20$. Risk of doing R/S is well know to the family. I doubt they want to see there holdings erode anymore. R/S alows sp to trade higher $ amount. Most banks and investment funds have regulations where they cant buy stocks below 5$. I don't see their investment at this point eroding more. The biggest issue is their debt load especially when you have riing interest rates. I can't see why the share price going  50+ after the R/S with what I suggest. If they can get some buying from the banks like you say maybe you leave it alone for 6 months and see where the share price is and go to market then. Right now the debt ...more
