Good info on dual class shares

You will see that other than the Bomber there are quite a few ithers with dual class shares.

    I believe that a multiple vote shares normally entitles those holders of keeping the remains of the company in case of dissolution.
main reason for multiple voting shares is to prevent unwanted takeovers.

  I presume that after the split, the voting ratio will aslo change accordingly

exactlty :to prevent unwanted takeovers.: if bbd did not have this share structure, it would have been swallowed in no time by X,Y bombardier is Canadian, bombardier is Quebec pride and the family and any smart quebecer want it to stay that way
