I know that this was probably a rhetorical question but here's the answer: There were three 2 to 1 splits in the last 22 years or only 2 if we go for the last 20 years so there were 1/4 of the now existing shares 20 years ago and 1/8 22 years ago. (As per Yahoo finance data) So the 14$ 20 years ago would be the same as 3.5$ in today's share value. Not good for the 1.24$ it actually is but ...more

Right, not good at all at $1.24, and by far!!!

Go and see the chart, what price this was in 2000!!

I just want to point out that you are correct about 3 share splits of 2 for 1 since 95. However the 3 splits occurred from 1995 to 2000, meaning 1 share became 8 shares by July 2000. None since:) Cheers, GLTA

lol.. thanks, I saw the one from 200 and thought it was the first because of the order it showed up. My mistake. Thanks for correcting this Acuras1

Take a look at that pot stock: Hexo, reversed split 4 for 1in Dc. 2020, $0.30 yesterday closed! Good shot isn't it?

There's also opportunity cost. Dead money (actually negative) in BBD could have been invested in general indices and doubled at least plus dividends. I'm invested here for just over 5 years. The company is turning the corner but there's no denying this stock has been a wealth destroyer since the new millenium and worse if it's been anyone's primary investment.

I fall into that category as well. But who knew this stock would proform as it did ,over these past 6 years. I have a feeling that they pissed off Boeing, with the CSeries,  who hired some US Funds like Canaccord and Banks like Goldman, to destroy the Bomber stock, and they're still at it, shorting the shite out of it. My feeling is that unless  Bombardier does another share buyback ...more

The more things are up in the air the more time it gives people to come up with reasons to worry.  I'm not sure the rs will be either good or bad. Of course fear always win when it comes to the markets so I'm expecting wild swings when/if the rs occurs. The only thing that matters is good results and management seems intent on keeping things focused on this.

Hey, take this one too: Aurora stock pot, 12 for 1! Go and see the price of SP! We will all know here, and pretty soon if a 25 for 1 is a good move!!
Comment by johnney on Jun 03, 2022 7:25am
Thus stick has already been around $42, or $44 around year 2000, and splited and nit reverse, and came out at $21, or $22! We should of been over $50 with all the products they had, and of course, if they would if rubbed it right! What didn't help, gas been splited 7 times since 1986, 1987, and caused a lot of dilutions and this without all the problems that followed in the last years when ...more
