Bombardier Inc. > What do u mean by this statement

What do u mean by this statement

"Shares and debt priced at about 8 billion or so, this is all that's left here."

Please explain yourself, or your thinking fully. Because no part of that statement is true. Long Term Debt is $6B and Enterprise Debt is about $4.2B. If u don't know what I'm saying about Debt? Look it up before you answer me.

While I'm at it. The Family will not sell their shares to a competitor. I guarantee it. If they do it will be a hefty price tag attached to that sale. The Govt., has no control of the BJ division, a private business. I hope the Family has figured that out now, given the CSeries fiasco.

First of all there is no real term of enterprise debt as you put it but enerprise value is probably what you mean. My numbers are rough like yours usually are. As of today not sure how much cash is really on hand although as i remember something like 1.5 billion but who know where they are at now and thinking the debt is likely more than 6 billion or unless you know the exact figure. Rarely is any ...more

Sorry I meant NET DEBT  Sometimes I refer to it as the Enterprise Debt. To me it means what the REAL DEBT of the Enterprise is. I've been telling you and everyone here that LTD is $6.03B -$1.4B Reserves = $4.6B in NET DEBT.

Btw LE some of my numbers ARE rough. When I'm dealing with future projections I have to guess, nobody knows what the real #'s will be. But I come very close either way. Plus when I'm dealing with past numbers sometimes, I do it by memeory, that's why they're rough. But things like LTD, RESERVES, NET DEBT, EBITDA'S, are right on. Sometimes I can't remember Quarterly ...more

A few things to remember. They have been paid already for a portion fo their orders hence the cash on hand but that cash may be needed to actually meet delivery committments Also sure they used a portion of that 1.4 billion stated last quarter to pay off the last notes they paid off. We will see what the actual numbers are on Aug 4th. How much of that of tht 13.5 billion backlog has already ben ...more

You didn't answer my question. What I asked u was, what did u mean by the debt being $8B?  When you're talking to me about NUMBERS. You better keep it real. In your statement bellow. You have another mistake with regard to Reserves. The total Reserves on hand are $1.4B + another $400M that was held as collateral that was just freed up from the Alstom Lawsuit. We just got that news ...more

Where do you come up with this stuff. I never waid debt was 8 million. I was saying roughly shares and debt. How is it your numbers are correct? Did they not just pay almost 400 million in debt, where did that money come from? What are you getting so defensive about? I am just wondering if an offer came in at what pirce some may think it would be that's all. Why are you reading into more than ...more
