Within Canada Quebec keeps on shooting itself in the foot and thus has very little respect across canada. Quebec seems to be more interested in Culture and language and head dress rather than the economy. Thus Bombardier is better to look for that respect elsewhere such as the US rather than here.   No one in canada is going to go out of their way to accomodate this province except for ...more

Club You seems to have it upside down this morning. In what respect does Quebec is shooting itself in the foot this morning Defence and aircraft buying? However I kind of agree with you to the fact it is not ROC that will help BBD and in that respect if BBD decide to mve it better be outside Canada. Defence is a federal responsabolity

I know it's just your opinion or a comment but if the rest of Canada (roc) doesn't respect Quebec because it doesn't prioritize the economy as much as they would like then isn't the roc doing itself a disservice of not doing a bit to help when a Quebec-based business is trying to do something about it? What the rest of Canada should understand is that if Quebec doesn't do ...more

After listening to the conversation of E. M. with the radio interviewer, Bombardier doesn't even have a chanceto bid for the military plane contract. What a shame ! Bombardier has the same or even better product, cheaper, more efficient than those from Boeing. However our Prime Minister only considered planes from the U.S. A.  He should  support his own people, those 30 thousand ...more

Especially after Boeing - via the Trump Admin - effectively killed the CSeries, forcing Bomber to have to sell it to Airbus. F.ck Boeing.

You cannot expect politicians to make altruistic decisions as it is not in their DNA. The only thing in their DNA is the next election and what they need to do to win or they are out.

Yes F.ck Boeing!!

Ny name Unfortunately you cannot have it both ways when the economy is at risk, Laws will not protect any culture or language at least in the long term unless you have an increasing population and we certainly do not have an increasing population here as proven by the fact that Quebec doesn't want to increase their immigration quota even in the face of labor and talent shortage. Because they ...more

I'm not talking about having it both ways, but I'm also not talking about doing whatever the other party would like.  So Quebec vs ROC or, as an example, Canada vs US in free trade, shouldn't do things some way just because the other one would prefer things that way. It's a let's find a way... a la Biden vs Maga and moderate republican vs Democrats and it's extremist ...more
