RE:RE:The 400 M$ : the real story
Yes Temp that is a very good find in the statements.
Although this makes sense. I remember on the closing date of the Alstom deal Jan. 29th 2021, and the excuse that Alstom gave for withholding roughly $400M from the deal was, because the Bomber had signed all these deals for very cheap prices in the due dilligence period, in order to get more money from Alstom on closing. Because the deal (AP&S ) had an escalation clause in it, where Alstom was going to give the Bomber more money had they gotten any more contracts, thus increasing backlog for BT. Backlog was the only variable in the deal that could increase the price of the deal.. We can probably varify this point. I'm sure many here like Bicente remember that part of the deal.
Now that I think of it Temp. These litigation excuses from Alstom that u printed from the Statements, could have evolved from the withholding of the funds ($400M). The collaterals came from those contracts excuses from Alstom, & possible wrong doing, through finder fees, payments to Individuals, & other pending litigations of the bomber remaining company. etc.
Alstom was a snake, and so was Airbus to deal with. Just thinking this through that BT deal right now. Alstom was just trying to do everything not to pay what they had promissed on closing. They got a Price reduction too for their complaints of $500M. So they just threw all these excusses out there to withhold another $400M.
I'm sure what evolved from that deal was, some kind of Arbitration or complaint by Bombardier in court, where the Bomber said to Alstom that those possible litigations from all those past signed deals, are not a fear for Alstom & that Bombardier will deal with them as they come. You can see all these allegations from all these Gov't crooks were BASELESS against the company. These Govt's are crooks suing these companies they give contracts to, trying to get cash out of them. They gave the Bomber contracts, and then they sue for some baseless wrong doing to get some of that cash from the contract back. The Metrolinx/Toronto contract's for the street cars with Byford was a perfect example. So in that Arbitration/court compalaint with Alstom they had dates for the release of Collateral funds that Bombardier posted for the Alstom claims to funds, and if no charges, or fraud claims, came forward within a period of say 2 years then, the money would be released. That's probably what we are seeing now, is the release of those funds. Alstom still will pay us the other $400M they withheld from the deal in the International Arbitration that's gotta be heard soon. The good part of the whole mess with Alstom is that the Govt's can't do nothing to the Bomber right now. They took the CSeries & BT, and they were wrong in witholding the $400M in the Alstom deal. They're only just holding to our $400M more that will go to our LTD in 2024/5. Thankfully we're not in the Finacial mess we were in 2 years ago.
This company is still not good at giving shareholders explanations, or facts with everything occuring out there. So I'm only guessing here. But I know I'm very close to the truth here. Alstom was crooked to deal with, and Airbus was even a bigger one. So is Casse Depot, and anything related with Govt's. You can't win with them. Look at what happened in that BT deal? The Canadian & Quebec Govt got something from Europe from the CSeries deal, forcing Pierre Beaudoin to sell to the European Airbus, and now Quebec is still a 10% owner of the CSeries, & Quebec's Casse Depot which is a Govt entity owns (20-30%%???) of Alstom after the closing. Casse is the largest shareholder of Alston right now. In essence they fckd the Bomber to get it's assets. I can't wait to get rid of this Alstom ordeal, and get our due cash from these crooks. I'm so happy that this company doesn't have to deal with these Govt's, and depend on them for contracts. I'm sure that's the reason that Bombardier got rid of BT, and kept just the Jets. Just to end this relationship. Just so that they don't have to depend on everyone of these parasites. Sorry for this long post. But hind sight is 20/20.
