Clarity

Just wanted to tell everyone here, that what I said about getting an extra $400M, on top of that Collateral $400M was wrong. Despite, how I interpreted the wording on their oficial website. We're only getting the $400M from the posted Collateral. Turns out the Bomber did get $400M less from the BT closing at the time. But that $400M short was used for the collateral money. Bombardier's communication skills to describe, why we ended up with $3.6B instead $4B on the BT closing leaves a lot to be disired. Remember those times of the closing of BT in Jan. 29, 2021, they had their hands full with the closing to be able to communicate to their shareholders, that they actually had to use the $400M from the proceeds of the sale to the posting of $400M as collateral to appease Alstoms concerns. I guess it was too hard for them to communicate the truth, to their Shareholders. Tipical of everything they did during those times. I'm glad the're more transparent now. Cheers

I think it personally, that it was best to just divulge what had to be divulged and not go any further.  ...more

Yes we have discussed this privately, and you have made that point, correctly I might add. I guess your point is that they were between a rock and a hard place. But my point is, is just with the terrible way they were disclosing information at that time. I guess I'm the type that wants the truth, even if it is horrible. But they still could have told us that, they got $4B and used $400M of it ...more

Thanks guys for being candid about this $400M discussion issue. My understanding had always been that sale settlement net to the company at $3.6. There's still a lot of work ahead and there will always be surprises (recently positive ones with generating better FCF, orders and debt) lets hope management continues to deliver credible results. I remain positive for a few reasons. Imagine ...more

It's our pleasure Acuras. Although credit is due to Temp and mainly CLUB.with that. He insisted that we/I check into it further once he discovered the truth from the Company. Btw please don't use the word Glory, and No Glory, in your posts. That name is a sore spot around here. You may have to put Club to work trying to fill the Glory hole up next. He dug up the Glory hole, now it's ...more
